The purpose of this Confidentiality Policy is to inform Internet browsers and uses of our website of the terms under which their personal data may be processed.

The company IODA is careful to respect your private life and the confidentiality of your personal data and undertakes as the data controller to process them in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations, particularly European Regulation 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 (“GDPR”) and French Law no. 78-17 of 6 January 1978, amended (“French Data Protection Act”) (hereinafter, the “Regulations”).

  1. Personal data, purposes of collection and legal basis for processing

Your personal data may be collected:

Based on the information you communicate to us via email or your choices of cookies, it may be information related to your identity, your contact details or your professional life.

Disclosure of personal data in such cases is voluntary.

Your personal data are thus collected and processed to be able to provide you with the information you have requested or put you into contact with our HR service and on the basis of your consent or our legitimate interest.

 

  1. Personal data storage period

The company IODA does not save your personal data except for the time necessary for the procedures for which they are collected and in respect of the Regulations.

The data from your requests for information: three (3) years after the most recent contact by you.

Information on candidates wishing to work with IODA: from 1 month (if deletion is requested) to one (1) year after the most recent exchange with you.

Cookies: between twelve (12) months and twenty-five (25) months depending on the type of cookie installed (see section 7 below).

 

  1. Recipients of your personal data

As strictly necessary to manage your requests, the only parties with access to personal data are (i) members of the company IODA, and (ii) the outsourced technical service providers who intervene in the provision of our services (website developer, host, etc.).

All Internet browsers or users of our services whose personal data are processed by us have the following rights:

  • The right of access (i.e. to verify the data concerning you which we save and receive a copy thereof);
  • The right to rectification (i.e. to have your data updated or corrected if they are incomplete or incorrect);
  • The right to object at any time to the collection and processing of all or part of your data for commercial prospecting, for example, including profiling to the extent it is connected to such prospecting. This right also means you may modify your notification preferences at any time;
  • The right to restriction of processing (i.e. in certain cases allowed by law and if you object to the processing of some of your data, you may request that we restrict the use thereof while the dispute is settled);
  • The right to portability (i.e. you have the right to recover your data or demand the transfer thereof to third-party providers);
  • The right to erasure (i.e. you may request the definitive deletion of your user account);
  • The right not to be subject to any decision exclusively based on automatic processing including profiling which would have legal consequences for you or significantly affect you in a similar manner;
  • The right to define general and specific instructions as to how you believe the preceding rights shall be exercised following your death.

The company IODA pays careful attention to the personal data it is entrusted with. Nonetheless, if you believe the processing of information concerning you breaches your rights, you may file a complaint with the French Data Protection Agency (CNIL).
